Katarzyna Balcerowicz is an expert in the field of renewable energy sources with over 13 years of experience in business analysis of the renewable energy market and in the regulation of the energy sector. During her career, she was mainly involved in financing and evaluating investment projects with an emphasis on renewable energy sources. He also has experience in regulatory issues, in particular in the field of support systems for the energy sector. In the past, it implemented support mechanisms, including: renewable energy producers.
Since 2022, she has been associated with Qair Polska, where she was initially responsible for obtaining financing for renewable energy projects and corporate energy sales agreements. Currently, he deals with short and long-term electricity sales contracts, cooperating with the largest industrial clients in Poland.

cPPA contracts are associated with a lengthy and challenging negotiation process due to their relatively small number. However, it's essential to consider that these are long-term contracts, often spanning up to 15 years, so both parties aim to reach solutions that are beneficial to them as much as possible. cPPA agreements vary depending on the conditions of the renewable energy producers and consumers involved in such negotiations. Additionally, banks are increasingly involved in the negotiation process to ensure financing for new investments in renewables secured by negotiated cPPA agreements. Are these agreements indeed difficult to sign? If so, what can be done to expedite and simplify the signing process? Our panelists will discuss the practical aspects of conducting cPPA negotiations.
