A graduate of the Krakow University of Technology. Employee of the Polish Power Exchange since 2000. Since 2005, he has been the Director of the TGE Register Office.
Responsible for organizing trading in all instruments related to colored certificates of origin for electricity production and certificates of origin for energy efficiency.
Since November 2014, he has been responsible for the Register of Guarantees of Origin, which is addressed to producers of energy from renewable sources, trading companies, brokers and all interested entities that want to certify the origin of electricity from renewable sources

Topic:
Guarantees of Origin (GOs) are the sole instrument confirming the origin of electricity from renewable energy sources (RES). GOs are gaining popularity among Polish and foreign entities year by year. Increasingly, both exchange and over-the-counter transactions involving GOs are taking place on European markets. Poland's fate regarding accession to the Association of Issuing Bodies (AIB), which gathers entities responsible for issuing GOs, is still pending.
In this panel, we will discuss the benefits of Polish consumers and producers' membership in AIB and when this may happen, as well as whether there is an alternative. Additionally, electricity consumers will present to what extent they utilize Guarantees of Origin and whether it is necessary in their case.
